Trekking Plus is a government registered Trekking and Travel company under the laws of Nepal. We accept all our all the booking under the following terms and conditions. We are guided by our company policies and request that you read them before booking our tour packages. These Terms and Conditions apply to all our services for Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan with us and it may change at any time. The terms and conditions section contains the information to the clients regarding the procedures of booking confirmation agreement, payment and refund system, cancellation, and no shows as well as other charges levied as per our Trekking Plus policy. We want you to read and understand it carefully before declaration of any trip booking with us.

Booking a Trip
All clients are requested to fill out the form provided on the website to confirm your trip with us. The submission of the booking will serve as a provisional confirmation of the trip that you have chosen to take with us. Once the form is received, we will email you with payment details. The trip is then confirmed once the deposit or total amount is received.
While booking your trip to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan with us, we need 20-25% of the total amount of a non-refundable booking deposit. It needs for every trip booking per person of trip cost. The rest of the money can be paid upon arrival at our office. Full payment needs to pay before departure for the trip and for your last-minute booking. You can pay before a week the total amount of money as an advance. We want you to read and understand it carefully before declaration of any trip booking with us.
Confirming a Trip
To fully confirm the trip a deposit of 20-25% of the total cost is required before you start the trip which can be transferred to our bank account that will be mentioned in our email we send after receiving the booking form. Upon receiving the deposit, we will email you with confirmation receipt and the balance due that can be paid once you arrive in Kathmandu. Please note that the cost incurred during the bank transfer must be borne by the clients themselves.
Last-minute booking
Trekking Plus always believes in and specializes in small-group treks and tours. The sooner you book, the better it is going to be. We also offer private treks for your customized dates as well. Last-minute bookings are generally for those clients who missed out or could not confirm their bookings within a short period of time. We, as a trekking outfit, have made special booking provisions about the Nepal trips. We can somehow accept your last-minute booking with the full amount (100%) if the payment is made within 24 hours before the start of your trip date. Similarly, we always initiate and are willing to operate Nepal trips anytime, as per the situation's demands and priorities.

Flexibility on Changing date free of cost of your travel
Our flexible booking will give you peace of mind and easy for you if sometimes plans change. Furthermore, when you book with us you have the flexibility to change your travel plans. with the assurance that you’ll have options to re-book when it suits you. If you notify us about changes to your travel plans at least 30 days before your scheduled departure, you can pick new travel dates or an entirely different trip, with no change fees. Trip Postponement or Transfer Policy
Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, you may need to postpone or transfer your trip. If you wish to postpone a trip, you must send us a written notice at least 30 days before the departure date.
- For Nepal trips, a 20% postponement fee will be charged.
- For Bhutan trips, 50% of the total trip cost will be charged if the trip is postponed or canceled within 48 hours of departure.
- If you would like to transfer your booked trip to another person, you may recommend a suitable and physically fit person at least 30 days before the trip starts. A written request for the transfer is required. Once we receive your request, we will process it accordingly. The new participant must complete and sign all required documents before the trek begins.

Note, all the trip prices quoted on this site are in US dollars ($USD). All payments can be made in any foreign currency that is accepted by the Nepali government. We accept the following

Company cancellation policy.
We understand the fact that sometimes certain things can happen due to which the plan needs to be changed or cancel the pre-booked trip. In exceptional cases and unexpected series of events or circumstances, the cancellation policy differs. In the worst case, if conditions require cancellation of the trip, in such cases we provide a reimbursement of the advance payment as per the company’s policy. Our cancellation policy is quite flexible and better than that of other trek and tour operators.
If the client feels the need to cancel the trip, he or she has to submit an email stating an authentic reason(s). Upon receipt of the email, the refund procedure will be executed as mentioned below. In the event of cancellation of any kind of pre-booked trip, please be informed that the 20% deposit will be deducted as a trip cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled 48 hours before the trip. It is applied as soon as you confirm your booking with us. Please be reminded that this 20% deposit is non-refundable when the trip is cancelled 48 hours prior.
When making the final payment for the trip before it starts the day in our office no refund will give. Trekking Plus want you to send a pre inform notice so that we can work out on refund procedure which will be made are as follows:
- If cancellation is made within a week (7 days) of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu, we provide a full refund.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the departure date, 20% will be deducted from the total amount of the trip. (Minus any transaction fees)
- Cancellation less than 48 hours, no refund shall be provided. If any kind of applicable permits are issued/ purchased already, the cost of Permit/s are not refundable.
We don't provide any refunds to those clients who drop out of the journey voluntarily, regardless of the reason, after the commencement of the trip. There is no refund on the unused amount based on the itinerary. Similarly, no refunds are applicable for unutilized facilities such as accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals, or services.
Note
- In the case of refunds, we will process them immediately, though it might take about at least a week to 10 days for the process to go through the bank. Please be patient.
- The bank charges occurred due to the refunds must borne by the clients. Cancellations of the trips must be advised in written. However, no refund or compensation will be made for any unused air tickets, accommodation, or any other activity which we already issued.
- The trip deposit you made for any trip to Tibet and Bhutan Tour will be considered as trip cancellation fee. We are unable to offer trip postpone for any trip of Bhutan and Tibet as well.
Mountaineering or Peak Climbing and Expedition
- Cancellation Before30 days of the trip 25% cancellation will be charged, plus costs.
- Cancellation is made within a week (7 days) of the trip departure date , 50% cancellation will be charged, plus costs.
- Cancellation less than a week will be no refund will be provided.
- If any kind of applicable permits are issued/ purchased already, the cost of Permit/s are not refundable.
Incomplete Trip
in case of any failure to complete the trip, for whatever reason, by the clients, we are not liable for any refunds for any meals, accommodation, or any services not used during the trip. if you commit any unlawful act during the trip and are compelled to leave Nepal, we are not liable for any refunds.
Unforeseen Circumstances and Program Alteration or delay
The itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the tour leader for safety reasons. The tour leader may suggest an alternative itinerary and/or activities. While rescheduling the trip at either the same price or a higher price, you need to pay for the amount of used services from your previously booked trip. Similarly, if the price increases for the rescheduled departure, you will pay the difference between the new and old prices.
If your trip gets cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, fire, or adverse weather conditions, we would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. We keep it preserved for your next time but not longer than one year. We will not consider any refund to any broken tour or trek due to client’s sickness, accident, landslides, or other factors beyond our control as well.
Likewise, we reserve the right to revise the pricing rates posted in our marketing material under any circumstances or under the pressure of various external factors like changes in exchange rates, government action, etc. that are beyond our control.
Publicity
Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. uses the images taken by clients during the trip without prior notice, recourse, or compensation. These images and photographs of you of the trips may use for publicity and promotion purposes through different mediums. You should agree upon this for permission; if you do not, please let us know.
Privacy
Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. collect information from you to making a booking through our Company we ask some questions to obtain the necessary permits and documentation and fulfill government lows only. We assure you that we will not disclose any of your documents for any other purpose. Your privacy matters. Your documents will be safe with us.
Children
A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. Please take note that no unaccompanied minors under 16 years of age are accepted. And in the case of minors, all personal gear accompanied by them is the sole responsibility of their respectable guardian. If you have a any question regarding age and suitability, please feel free to contact us for further information.
Risk and Liabilities
Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. offer unique trekking and tours packages in the Himalayas renowned for the best quality of service for any package we sell. We always believe the very best value for the money and take your safety for any aspect to make your holiday the best possible experience very seriously. We provide the best possible trip, and we aim to perform our duties honestly and seriously to make your experience smooth, unforgettable, pleasant, and problem-free. However, we will not take any responsibility regarding changes and alternations in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances or unforeseen cases such as landslides, road blockages, floods, snow, political-unrest, cancellation of flights, delay arrival, sickness, natural disasters, acts of terrorism or accidents. So that clients are advised to take out their own travel insurance to adequately cover against medical and personal accident risk Travel insurance: compulsory to have insurance that covers helicopter evacuation in mountain).
Any additional cost incurred due to such events not under our control is the sole responsibility and charge of our clients. Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify any arrangements required by and made on behalf of clients.
Therefore, we shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary because of unavoidable circumstances like government restrictions, landslides, road blockages, political strikes, cancellation of flights, delays, sickness, or accidents. Additional costs incurred during this time should be borne by the clients themselves. All bookings are accepted and executed with utmost care, yet no responsibility is undertaken for any change or deviation because of factors beyond our control.
Travel Insurance
Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. puts in a lot of effort to ensure the safety of all our clients. But we also strongly recommend our clients purchase a comprehensive travel and medical insurance package that covers incidents, natural calamities or disasters, helicopter evacuations, personal accidents, trip cancellations, etc. prior to the commencement of their tour. We want your insurance details (policy number, policy provider, and emergency contact) before you start your trek or tour. It would be always recommend to have it from you own country which would be easier for you Recommended Travel Insurance Companies. Insurace should cover helicopter rescue. Do remember that personal travel insurance is not included in our tour price.
Complaints and Issues
If you have any complaints while on a tour, please let your guide know so we can try to fix the problem immediately. Trekking Plus Pvt. Ltd. will always be in touch, even while on the tour or trek, so that we can solve your problem as soon as possible. And after every tour, you are free to comment on our services, both good and bad. We appreciate the feedback, and we always want to improve to serve you better.
Acceptance of Terms
These terms and conditions are valid only if you book the trip with us directly. If you book our trip through a third party or any agents, you are liable to their terms and conditions as well as our terms and conditions.
